Your coverages
Is it usually covered?
A first consultation and tests are often outpatient costs. Some plans may cover them as part of a hospital claim if they lead to treatment within the plan's time window.
Procedures such as treatment for kidney stones or some prostate procedures are often claimable under an Integrated Shield plan when they are medically necessary. Always subject to your insurer’s approval.
Pure screening without symptoms is usually not covered. We will tell you what is likely to apply before you go.
