Your coverages
Is it usually covered?
A consultation and imaging are often outpatient costs. Some plans may cover them as part of a hospital claim if they lead to a procedure within the plan's time window.
Procedures such as a biopsy or removing a lump are often claimable under an Integrated Shield plan when they are medically necessary. Always subject to your insurer’s approval.
Routine screening without symptoms is usually not covered by an Integrated Shield plan. Some company benefits include health screening.
