Your coverages
Is it usually covered?
A child may be covered by their own Integrated Shield plan, as a dependant under your company medical benefits, or both. We help you see which to use for what.
Specialist consultations are often outpatient costs. Hospital stays and procedures for children are often claimable when they are medically necessary, depending on the plan. Always subject to your insurer’s approval.
Some conditions present from birth may be treated differently by insurers. We will tell you early if we see this.
